Yoga has improved my life and my struggle with anxiety!

A few years ago I shared a personal part of my life, my struggle with anxiety. Its been a difficult journey and one that I continue to work on each day. Last year I had another bad episode, where I was once again broken, mentally and physically. I felt venerable, scared, isolated and lost. I am lucky enough to have a fantastic support function around me. However, when faced in these difficult times, for me it feels like no one can help. During this difficult period, I wanted to seek ways in which my recovery would became more permanent, as I knew this would lead to my emotions feeling more…

    My Anxiety Struggles

As we come to the end of another week of raising awareness for Mental Health, it shouldn’t stop there and we should continue to talk about it.  It’s taken me years to pluck up the courage to write this post but I’m now happy to share my experiences and how I cope with what was once described as my demons. Here’s my story… I’ve struggling with anxiety and panic attacks for 10 years plus. I am now in a place where I’m better at controlling them. Second time around I found the whole journey from the pregnancy to labour to coping with a new baby a much happier experience.  I’m in a great place personally, more confident and so  grateful and aware of how precious life really is. I’m 37 this year and I very much doubt I…

Fill n Squeeze – perfect for baby weaning & more!

Another milestone has crept up from no where for Grace and its time to start weaning her onto foods.  Even though I’ve already done this before (5 years ago) am I however always up for trying anything if it makes life a little easier.  So when my friend recommended the Fill n Squeeze I thought I’d give it a go.  This is a really great tool not only for weaning but I can see this coming in really useful for the next few years too! So what’s it all about you ask… its a device that helps you package food you’ve made yourself in reusable pouches.  For me personally its a user…
