I love following Tanya Burr on Instagram and You Tube and picked up some great hints and tips, so when she released her cosmetics collection I was excited to try them out for myself. Her products are available in Superdrug or Feelunique and for me I find her range really reasonable in price and how my tiny little brain works is it just means I can buy even more products – winner!
First up is the “Pretty Unstoppable Box”; I have to say with TB’s packaging they all look so cute & really pretty which I feel is always a plus. Inside there are 4 x Eyeshadows, Blusher & Highlighter and a Matte Lip too. You will also find some great step by steps tips on the back on how to apply the products which if you’re anything like me “every little helps” as I am no expert but thrive on always having a go. I applied this yesterday and found the shades really subtle and gentle so I wouldn’t necessarily use this on a night out, you know when you’re out out 🙂 but I’m sure this and others of her collection will be a favourite for when I return back work next month.
The star of this set is the Matte Lip (shade Martha Moo); I’m mad about matte lips and have a huge collection from Tarte already as I find them long lasting BUT after putting this to the test at the weekend not only does it look amazing – it stayed on for 4 hours without re-applying and that was after two hot drinks and lunch, can’t grumble at that can you. This is so much cheaper too; Sold individually at just £5.99 this is a must have so I’m definitely investing in some more shades.
Next up is the “Peachy Glow Cheek Palette”; This contains 1 x bronzer, 1 x blusher & 1 x highlighter, the colours really suit my skin tone. Its a perfect size too, great for taking out in my bag without taking up too much room. The bronze is perfect for contouring and I now alternate this with my Hoola Bronzer. The blusher is called Apricot Flush and is exactly that – it has a wonderful peachy/coral appeal to it and to top it off the highlighter is a lovely champagne shimmer effect, perfect for the top of my cheek bones and the end of my nose.
All in all I have been really impressed with Tanya Burr’s collection so far, I even got this same set for my 15 year old niece and she’s loving it too. So whether your looking to add to your make up collection, wanting to try different colours or products without spending a fortune this collection is perfect.
Big love, Nicola xx
