Wild Flowers & Weeds, the new scents from Jo Malone

Jo Malone has released a limited new collection of scents and this time it’s inspired by the unruly weeds and wildly-wonderful plants and flowers that line the banks of a winding river (says the lady herself). I sampled these little gems in their Chester store before they went live online and instantly fell in love which let’s face it isn’t that hard, wish I could drape myself in all things Jo Malone, head to toe! Here’s a run down of the ones I fell for… Willow & Amber – The expressive weeping willow, gently draping across the fresh morning water. Captured in the woody pairing of cashmere wood and smoky…

    Beauty Must Have’s 2017 Part 1…

Its been a while since I last wrote a blog, granted I have been spinning a few plates… returning back work, starting a new job, half term Easter break AND amongst all of this still trying out new and old beauty products. Let me take you through some of my must have products that I’m using this year. Skin & Hair Pixi Double Cleanse – This innovated design is a 2-in-jar which contains one side solid cleansing oil & the other side cleansing cream.  I picked mine up from ASOS and whilst its only £24 I found that I ran out quite quickly so not one for everyday use unless you want to be re stocking…

Hair SOS… Ogx to the rescue!

I’ve been shocked by the condition of my hair recently and its saddened me that my healthy glow during my pregnancy days are long gone.  My hair’s been constantly looking like Monica from Friends and the “its the humidity” episode, not a great look. So I’ve been on a mission for a shampoo, conditioner and that something extra to give it that va-va voom bounce back again and after several attempts (high & low end products), I’ve found the one.  I’m already noticing a big difference after just 4 washes.  Its the OGX Renewing Moroccan Argan range from Superdrug : – OGX Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo 385ml @ £6.99 OGX…

    Why I loved 2016 & What I’m looking forward to in 2017

The past year has to be one of my favourite years so far which is quite a statement to make, here’s a run down of why I loved 2016 and what I’m looking forward to in 2017, everything from babies, weddings, make up & life goals and even TV Shows! Lets kick things off with why I loved 2016…. Family You don’t get much bigger than finding out your pregnant and reaching your 12 week scan safe and sound and that’s exactly what happened to me back in February.  The picture of Charlie holding the scan, finding out he’s going to be a big brother sums up the joy we all…

    NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream

I’m absolutely in love with this range of lipsticks from NYX. The colours are stunning and they glide on your lips beautifully.  With the matte finish, they make them feel super soft and I’ve even noticed that the colour stays on longer than my normal range of lippy’s too. This definitely gets a big thumbs up from me. I originally brought the colour Stockholm (which I wear every day for work) & Milan both from Amazon whilst ordering some other goodies, however picked the rest up in a Boots store (these are not available in all stores though) These are just a few of my favourite colours… Can’t wait to try some more. What’s…
