The Royal Treatment with Jo Malone

I recently popped to Chester with my dad and little Grace as we fancied a change of scenery so we headed off for a relaxing day of walking, a spot of lunch and even a few cheeky shops.

I wasn’t after anything in particular but I was on the hunt for some good hand cream – I don’t know about you but the weather this time has ruined by hands plus being at home on maternity leave really hasn’t helped either as I’m constantly washing my hands for one reason or another.  For those who have been Chester we were walking down the main stripe and decided to call in at Jo Malone because lets face it why wouldn’t you 🙂 As soon as we walked in the ladies were warm and welcoming, one lady in particular was super nice, she made a real fuss of Grace which is always nice.  After a little chit chat I told her what I was looking for and she kindly offered me a complimentary hand & arm massage – not one to turn down anything complimentary I sent dad on his way with Grace for a little walk whilst I had a little treat.  She started off using a body and hand wash and for the life of me I can not remember what it was called (I know this does not help anyone but stick with it I will redeem myself) followed by the “Wood Sage & Sea Salt” Body Crème – when this had soaked in, my arm was sprayed with one of the new Bloomsbury scents “Leather & Artemisia“. Once it was over my arms and hands smelt divine even if the rest of me was some what plain now but at least if i needed a pick me up I only had to sniff or wave my arms.

After sampling a few more products I decided on the “Leather & Artemisia” perfume and the new hand cream “Geranium & Walnut“, however I am already regretting not picking up the “Wood sage & Sea Salt” body crème as this was sensational on my skin but at least I have a good excuse to return back there which could be soon as I am totally in love with the perfume so will be running out at this rate!

My up and coming wedding was brought up and I was delighted to hear they also offer a Complimentary Bridal Consultation – this is something I’ll be doing with my bridesmaids as this would make the perfect gift for them.

I love shopping and I love treating myself as well as others but what made this trip even more special was being welcomed in a store by people who were knowledgeable, exuded professionalism, warmth and where I was taken on a experience from start to finish – even if it was for ten minutes or so you made me feel like royalty so I salute you Jo Malone!

Big Love, Nicola xx
